Employment Generation Program


 

●      Publication of twenty seven (27) vacant positions for filling up at the Civil Service Commission office and other conspicuous places.

 

●      Approval from the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) the eight (8) Casual Positions, namely five (5) senior  engineers with a  salary grade (SG) 16 and three (3) BAC secretariat with salary grade (SG) 7.

 

●      Publication of the eight (8) Casual positions for filling up at the Civil Service Commission office and other conspicuous places

 

●      Approved the casual appointments of three (3) Secretary B salary grade (SG) 7 as Bids and Awards Committee Secretariats and five (5) Senior Engineer A salary grade (SG) 16 positions.

 

●      Approval of appointments for four (4) Utility Worker A with salary grade (3); one (1)

●      Plant Electrician C with salary grade (SG) 8 and one (1) Plumber with salary grade (SG) 8 effective July 1, 2021.

 

●      Conducted an entrance exam and interview for the published twenty seven (27) vacant positions.



Poverty Alleviation


 

●      Implemented the MOA entered into between DOTr and CPA on the allocation of P37,630,000.00 as funds to cover the berthing and/or anchorage fees for domestic vessels operating within the jurisdiction of Cebu Port Authority, in relation to Republic Act No. 11494 “Bayanihan to Recover as One Act”.

 

●      Pursuant to the Republic Act No. 11032 entitled “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Gov.t Service Delivery Act of 2018”, the Cebu Port Authority hereby promulgates the following policy and guidelines on the accreditation and operation of information and communications technology service providers for the online application and processing of computation and assessment of port charges for Cebu Port Authority.

 


Gender and Development


 

●    The repair and renovation of the Passenger Terminal Building at Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu was accomplished, to give better convenience and services to the passengers passing through from Punta Engaño to Sta. Rosa Island and Jetafe, Bohol.

 

●   Procurement of furnitures and fixtures for the Mother’s room at Passenger Terminals Taloot, Toledo and Danao

 

●      Suspension of wellness programs due to the pandemic.

 

●   The Provision of additional Comfort Rooms and Air Curtain for the Entrance Gate and Upgrading of Electrical System for the convenience of the passengers at the Passenger Terminal 1 at Pier 1, Cebu Basport.

 

●    Procurement of equipment for the gym to upgrade the existing equipment for the use of the employees as part of the wellness program.

 

●  Repair of Guardhouses, Pedestrian Covered Walks at the Port of Toledo City, Cebu to address the welfare and accessibility of the passengers to and from the vessels.
