TRAFFIC ADVISORY

To ease traffic congestion and for public safety and convenience, please be informed that beginning April 1, 2011, ONLY prime movers, trucks and trailers bound for CIP or the container weighing station are allowed entry to E.S. Baclig.

Private vehicles plying S. Osmeña Blvd from Mandaue City shall no longer be allowed to turn left at the junction box in front of Total gas station. All other vehicles bound for the port area may enter CPA Gate 4 (the gate facing Gen. Maxilom Ave.)

Likewise, private vehicles and taxis shall no longer be allowed to use the E.S. Baclig access road as a short-cut route from MacArthur Blvd. Traffic signs shall be placed in conspicuous areas for the guidance of all concerned motorists. Simultaneous announcements shall also be made in broadcast and in the newspaper, as well as in the CPA Facebook and Twitter account. Please keep posted for updates.
