IT AIN'T OVER TIL IT'S OVER. After suffering heavy losses in badminton and volleyball, Yellow team pulled itself together to prove that it is king of the bowling alley and a force to reckon with at the billiard table.
The Yellows won over the Reds in the championship round to win the bowling trophy with a score of 606 - 579 at the bowling plex of SM City Cebu on June 22, 2012.
In the first set, the Reds scored impressively with 631 points, followed by the Yellows who scored 606, the Blue Team scored 592, and the Blacks 542.
The succeeding sets, however, saw the Yellow bowlers Maximiano Gabuya, Fe Sevilla, Ely Aranduga, Dos Germiranda, and Edwin Caruzca in high fever as they streaked their way to the winner vs. winner round against Red Team members Alma Wong, Laarni Relatores, Yusop Uckung, Romeo Sevilla and Marcial Sasil.
With momentum on their side, the Yellows dominated the scoreboard and won the championship title while Red team was declared first runner up followed by Black and Blue teams, respectively.
Billiards. Meanwhile, Alberto Wong of Black team lorded over Alix Alaan of Yellow team in the final round of the 9-ball tournament to win the championship title for the Blacks.
Red Team was declared second runner-up after its veteran pool player Yusop Uckung single-handedly toppled Roger Canillo, Antonio Cardoza, and Mario Tan of Blue team.
