Good news to our port users!
In line with the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) CAREs (Convenient, Affordable, Reliable, Effiicent, and Safe) transportation program, travelling senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs) will soon be exempt from paying passenger terminal fees while students will have a 20% discount at the Passenger Terminals that are owned and operated by the Cebu Port Authority. The policy will soon be published and will take effect 15 days thereafter. The Terminals where these privilege may be availed are: Passenger Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at the Cebu Baseport; Ferry Terminals in Pier 3 and Muelle Osmeña; Port of Punta Engaño Passenger Terminal; Port of Sta. Rosa Passenger Terminal; Port of Danao Passenger Terminal; Port of Poro, Camotes Passenger Terminal; Port of Sta. Fe Passenger Terminal; Port of Tangil, Dumanjug Passenger Terminal, and Port of Taloot, Argao Passenger Terminal. |
