June 22, 2012. After more than four weeks of battle in badminton, darts, volleyball, and table tennis, the odds are in favor of Black Team as they continue to lead in the team standing in the CPA’s 20^th Anniversary Sportsfest.

It looks like the players of teams Black, Blue, Red, and Yellow continue to be highly energized, revved up, and determined to bring home the bacon for their team in the ball games that followed in the succeeding weeks.

  To date, Black Team is champion in six out of 14 games since the anniversary celebration formally opened last May 18, 2012 enough to earn them total scoring points of 87.50.

      Black Team was followed by Blue and Red which are tied at 70 points each and Yellow which garnered 55 points. The Blacks are champions in the Planting Straw and Calamansi Relay contests, badminton, darts, volleyball, and table tennis.

    Blue Team proved to be the fastest in the Fill-in-the-Bottle and Ball Shooting contests, while Red Team was unbeatable during the Flag Raising and Stacking Cups contests and subsequently came out as the champion in lawn tennis.

    In basketball, Yellow Team displays its indefatigable spirit despite its team standing as its advances to the championship game to battle Blue Team in the hard court on anniversary day, June 26.

     Bowling and Billiard will be simultaneously played by the four teams at SM City Cebu at 3:00 P.M. today.

      The awarding of teams will be the highlight of the culminating day of this year’s Sportsfest on June 26, 2012.
