| Permit to Operate Private Port New Port Facility – This permit must be secured by newly constructed ports whose plans are approved by the Engineering Services Department of the Authority. This permit to operate private port is given for a term of at least 10 years or co-terminus with the approved Foreshore Lease Agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Existing Port Facility but without valid permit – This permit must be secured by those ports who already existed prior to the creation of Cebu Port Authority in 1996.

Certificate of Registration/Permit for Existing Ports with Temporary Certificate of Registration – This permits must be secured by private port entities with temporary Permit to Operate from 10 years to 25 years.
Renewal of Permit to Operate – This permit is issued for expired private port facilities who wish to renew their permit to Operate with the Authority for another 10-25 years.
