AN INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY/APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The Cebu Port Authority, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City , invites accredited and duly registered contractors to participate in the public bidding of the following project :
Name of Project: CONSTRUCTION OF RORO RAMP WITH CONCRETE PLATFORM AND PROVISION OF COVERED CATWALK WITH CONTROL STEEL GATE @ PORT OF TANGIL, DUMANJUG, CEBU.
A. Scope of Work :
- a) Supply and Deliver of 0.35 x 0.55 R.C. Sheet Piles (0.35 x 0.55 x 14.0 L.M.) = 30 pcs. : 616 L.M.
- b) Supply and Deliver of 0.40 x 0.40 x 18.0m Anchor Piles (L = 54 L.M.) 4,000psi @ 28 days
- c) Driving of Piles (Sheet Piles and Anchor Piles)
- d) Chipping of Pile Butts for Anchorage
- e) Forms and Rebars for Coping Beams, Tie Beams, Mooring Foundation (3,250 kgs.)
- f) Concreting of Coping Beams, Tie Beams; Curing and Stripping of Forms (V = 25.0 cu.m.) (4,000psi @ 28 days)
- g) Concreting of Reinforced Concrete Slab and Concrete Curb (3,500psi @ 28 days) V = 34.0 cu.m. and Curing
- h) Supply and Install Fabricated Steel Fenders = 7 pcs. (Fabrication, Sand blastings and paintings

Prospective bidders shall submit to the BAC Chairman of this office their duly accomplished Prequalification or Eligibility Statements in HARD/BOOK-BOUND form. Prequalification or Eligibility Statements submitted other than Hard/Book-Bound form shall not be accepted. Bid securities in the form of surety bond, Callable on Demand, can be secured from the GSIS or other private insurance & surety companies duly accredited by the office of the Insurance Commission.
Prospective bidders shall submit the necessary documents or evidence to prove ownership of equipment and the duly notarized lease contract indicating the brand, serial number, capacity, and present location of equipment being leased.
Prospective bidders are required to present the original copy of Contractor's License/Certificate of Renewal and IAC Classification and Registration for verification/authentication before Pre-qualification or Eligibility Statement shall be issued.
All particulars relative to prequalification, bidding, evaluation of bids, and awards of contracts shall be governed by the provisions of R.A 9184, and other rules and regulations as may be applicable.
PA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formality/defect therein, and to accept such bid as may be deemed most advantageous to the government.
